I noticed I hadn’t blogged in…a month. So here is an update. A lot has changed in the past month, actually. First off, I had one of the best (if not THE best) summers of my life this year. I went to two music festivals (Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza), made all kinds of new friends, got a great job working on a documentary, and lastly…moved out of my apartment. My lease was up, and since my “life plans” are still pending, I decided to move in with my Grandpa. I lived with him through half of college, and it’s nice not having to pay rent. I really miss having my own place (if only for my random dance or Wii parties), but hopefully that will change in the near future. I’m trying to pay off bills and save up money for my move to Los Angeles. I have postponed my move until next year due to my job on the documentary. I was the gaffer during production, and was then hired on as one of the editors. I’m making great money and really enjoying it.

Recently I also deejayed a party for some friends with my friend Dave. We were DJ Keeng and DJ Khong and we wore gorilla masks. It was a BLAST. Needless to say, I think it might be a new hobby for me. I’m hoping me and Dave can start DJing more often, maybe even get some new equipment and have a show at a local bar or club! Anyways, my life is crazy between working and partying, but my schedule is much more flexible now that I’m out of school. A few of my friends who are still in school started back a few weeks ago. It’s weird not to be going to school. First time in…16 years? Damn!

Currentlies: reading WORLD WAR Z and INTO THE WILD / listening to IDEOLOGY by Uberzone and GRADUATION by Kanye West / watched NO END IN SIGHT and SICKO.
