Tonight I am heading to Manchester, Tennessee for BONNAROO! I’m stoked. It’s an 8-hour drive and we should be arriving around 3am, where we’ll probably have a 1-3 hour wait to get in. It takes a while to squeeze 80,000 people into an enclosed area, especially when they have to search every vehicle going in. Then we’ll be setting up camp and probably trying to get some sleep before the sun wakes us up in a couple of hours. Luckily this week it’s supposed to be 10 degrees cooler than when I went two years ago, so maybe the sun won’t turn our tents into ovens by 8am! Bonnaroo isn’t quite the best camping experience between the heat, the bugs, the odors, the dust, the mud, the sulfur water, the lack of a campfire. But those problems don’t amount to a hill of beans in the crazy world of Bonnaroo.
